| Thinking about mental health, how they affect many, and just how destructive they can be. Personally, I put the meaning of this song as her being his salvation and him being her light, and when things get hard or the darkness of the mind takes over, this is a reminder to them both that they will forever be loved. And when it comes to damaged people who have a lot of trauma, there is always a fear of rejection or loss or not being able to control their demons that can make another feel unloved. So overall this is a reminder that in another's mind, you are their reason to live and their everything. I adore Poets and have done for many many years. And they have so many songs that people can interpret in their own way and make applicable to their own lives. | |
