@[dr_fraud:51753] It’s been 19 years since this post and your interpretation and I just heard the first verse and hook of this song during the credits of an Irish show I was streaming called The Lovers. It’s as if it called my name (ironically, I am Stephanie). I had to google immediately, hit this site to read the lyrics and hear the entire song that I heard before and somehow never really ‘heard’ it 🙌🏼. In reading all of the 43 interpretations here, I agree with yours. It calls to me on a different literal note in its chopped up complexity that makes complete sense to me. My story is a little different. However, the similarities are uncannily the same. A lot brought me to my Alaska … it took one final straw after this second half of my life. I have a terrible migraine now or would write my interpretation in how it’s as if it was written to call me back out of the room I’ve put myself in because all I’d need to do is open back up/trust again, as I am the door, after all. I wonder if you’re even reading my reply so many years later. I wonder if anyone is. I wanted to write you because if I am in any way correct about my interpretation, then I am blown away by yours and just wanted you knowing how insightful I think you are. Bravo on some great out of the box thinking. Then again, who knows if either of us are right, lol 😂 |
