| The pretext asked me what does this song mean to you? I don't think I could put into words what, not only this song, but this album, and Amy and her music mean to me. I love Frank and I'm elated that I get to listen to Amy's creation, even after she's passed. I was almost 4 when she passed so I hadn't gotten to appreciate her until I was around 13. I love this song and I hate to see this comment area so empty, with the last comment being in 2015. I hope, not only this song, but her legacy lives on for a long time. I hope Amy doesn't fade away and that in 50 years there's some teenage girl still jamming to her music and being inspired by the rawness and realness it has. I can't wait to blast this record in my apartment in the future, I hope it's in Chicago and it's late at night and I don't have a thing to worry about. But most importantly, I hope there is someone who reads this in the future and they are alive and well, still appreciating real music :) | |
