The singer is a drug personified so like cocaine, meth or heroin. The drug is telling the listener to introduce them to their brother since people with drug addicted relatives and friends often become involved in drugs also. "Does he know what I do" is asking If the brother knows about the drug's effects. "I wasn't really looking for no more than somebody on the dance floor." Is the drug saying they could affect anyone, be taken by anyone. "If I asked him once what would he say" means if he takes the drug once how will he react. "Can he play" means can he withstand the drug. This is stretch but also the part "Is he more into young girls with dyed black hair" could be referring to a drug called black beauties. |

Jesus was a carpenter so handy-man could be referring to a christ-like figure. The singer met someone that they put on a pedestal and the person they put on a pedestal also claimed to be god-like when in reality they are not so the singer was lied to is disappointed and is mocking the false god. |
