| To me, he has his inner demons he’s been fighting. The hold on, hold on, is him and trying to change, sadly knowing his fate hold on might mean to not let his addiction kill him or knowing he did too much and it’s too late, probably has chased the dragon many times. He is thanking her for all she has put up with, been through, stood beside him….but the lyric I’m fading out, I feel nothing….(.to me many songs have many side notes of dual meaning) He knows that anytime could be his last….its different moods and feelings that music and tempo, delivery can change the dark words with upbeat music to seem not what they mean. 🤷♀️ | |
