Interesting… back in 1992/93 I spent several weekend’s at Gary’s house using his studio alongside Yen. We were recording, amongst other things, a cover of Down in the Park (complete with Cars motifs) and we got into some deep conversations about Gary’s short stories he wrote that gave us Cars, Friends, DitP etc… Gary said S.U’s stood for Sex Units. In the future he said, as a 17yr old , he believed that androids would fulfill all our “needs”. Similar too, but opposite to the Rape Machines” in DitP. |
