To me, it isn't about a loner and a ghost, its about a psycho guy who killed a girl he was obsessed with and is keeping her dead body in his room and doing questionable things with it. "I don't care I walk in and go right up the stairs To my room, get in bed and just wait for dark Because that's when the real show start" (Meaning the only place he can take out the body is in his room at night) "So young and pretty it's too bad she past" (Meaning shes dead but not yet dicomposed) "And I kiss her cold lips until the morning come" (Her lips are cold because shes dead) "But I do love a ghost and at least that's somethin' She don't talk much, when she do it gets cold Usually we just lay there and we hold each other" (He refers to her as a ghost because shes died. She doesn't speak much because shes dead. And they lay holding eachother because shes dead so she can't really do anything else cause shes dead) "One of my mother's cats jumped up on the covers And it scared my baby, guess she don't like pets So I twisted it's fuckin' head off at the neck" (Cat was most likely eating the body as that's what they do with dead bodies) "She slips me the tongue and it tastes like bacon" (Shes finally starting to discompose) "Uh oh, something's wrong baby's upset She told me she was spotted by the neighbor's kid She can't come back now 'cause they know our secret Unless I can make them keep it" (The neighbors kid saw him with the body and he has to kill him to make sure no one else tells anyone) As for the end where she stops coming back, I think its because of this line "She can't come back now 'cause they know our secret", and he realized that murdering the family was an even bigger chance of being found out than having a dead body. |
