But the Devil is a fiddle player and was so impressed by Johnny’s fiddling that it broke His heart to see him playing on such a substandard fiddle. Of course, Johnny never would have accepted a gift from the Devil, so the Devil devised a little contest that Johnny was sure to win because the Devil was the one judging it. It was an extremely classy way to give charity to a deserving violinist without making him feel like he’s getting charity. That Devil is a classy fellow. | |

It’s obvious once you see it. He’s known her a long time and loves her, but she’s shying away.
