| @[tincho20sal:50993] I spoke with Tom about this many years ago when I was working with the Band. He wrote the song and Steven tweeked the lyrics. According to Tom back in 1978, it's definitely about being dope sick which was especially true for me being "First time dope sick" for 3 days after we had that back stage conversation. One night of snorting "Wonder Drug" was all it took for me. I was never SO sick in my life! I actually thought it was the worst case of flu ever. Thank God I was too "young and dumb" to know that a $10 bag would have made me "alright" but would have probably changed my life forever. changed. But GREAT song Tom ;) | |
