Hi @[diana_x:50820], This song had (past tense) been a song that always made me cry. I felt strong connections to songs that make you feel about what the artist was sending out. Ur spot on with ur thoughts. How would I feel if my partner passed away but became a ghost and was bound by the walls of our residence? I'd b yearning 2 touch her again. "So, when u think of me, smile..." would always make me tear up. It's a shame Wendy didn't do a music video 2 this song. I reckon it would've been awesome. But, now because of my now ex-wife's incredible act of deceit, I don't have much of a connection with this song. I think the real life love experience and this song must go hand-in-hand 4 it 2 hit a deep nerve. It's weird how ppl lose that connection when bad stuff happens. And the result now is that I now have a deep connection with JoJo's "Leave (Get Out)" song from the early 2000's. For obvious reasons. And I'm sorry that it took me ages 2 discover this site and respond 2 ur thoughts about this song. It's amongst my top favourites of all time. Take care. ❤️ |
