| @[LikwuidIce:50664] So just hearing this song again from the other end of a relationship and my personal interpretation is: he (the singer) feels strongly about this person but they are suffering from a depression or episode in life. And while he's always there (the singer), the other person has no ability to be free of their depression / trauma / emotions "to move on" and build on the relationship. While there may be moments, they always come crashing down. I interpret this way as wanted a relationship with this woman who I thought could build a great relationship, but there was always something in between us and then realized it had nothing to do with me; she just couldn't move on from her past. While I'm always her friend and here for her, I just have to move on and hope to find someone who can build a relationship with me; so this song resonates with me at this time with this song. | |
