| Thirteen Senses – Into The Fire Lyrics | 1 year ago |
| This song to me is about transformation. In order to transform, there is a metaphorical death and rebirth process that always happens. The process of transformation is difficult - you often have to have a part of yourself or all of yourself metaphorically die so that you can meet the better, more powerful version of yourself. Going into the fire and meeting the power is meeting yourself, and going through hell in order to achieve that. The sad tone of the song is knowing that transformation is inevitable, somehow your soul has outgrown aspects of your life and it is a necessary process in order to grow. You often have to leave everything behind: thought processes, friends, family, your environment. It's scary, but the song is teaching you that it is all right, and that you are going to be okay throughout the chaos. It is the revolution within yourself. | |
