besides what everybody else said, if you just read the words it paints a picture and it feels like a warm breeze on a hot day driving on some freeway. For East Coast neurotic types, LA is too weird and like a movie. The narrator Cant enjoy anything. it's all too filled with surrealism and irony. All these uncomfortable feelings would vanish back in the concrete jungle. |

maybe he's talking about Malcolm McLaren. McLaren stole all his band mates and created the group Bow Wow Wow Adam and turned around and put out a killer album McLaren was known for trying to start trends and put out a lot of punk crap. What do I see standing here? A big nothing. The style of music was from Africa and has that crazy drumming. |
