Taylor Swift – So High School Lyrics 1 year ago
It seems pretty obvious that this song is at least partially inspired by Travis Kelce.

Cirith Ungol – Black Machine Lyrics 1 year ago
This song is about a Ferrari. The band members were obsessed with them when they were younger.

Judas Priest – Raw Deal Lyrics 1 year ago
With lyrics like these, I've never understood how it wasn't widely known that Rob Halford was gay before he came out in 1998. He's an absolute legend.

David Bowie – Life on Mars? Lyrics 1 year ago
It's a tremendous coincidence that Bowie mentions fame and John Lennon in the same sentence during the song and he would record a song called "Fame" with Lennon a few years later.

Coven – Dignitaries of Hell Lyrics 1 year ago
You might notice that part of this song sounds an awful lot like part of "Electric Funeral" by Black Sabbath, even though that song came out two years after this one. It's one of many things shared between the two bands, some of which are probably only coincidental. Tony Iommi has always maintained that he wasn't familiar with Coven, but it's established that Geezer Butler was a listener of occult rock in the early days and their transition to darker imagery and even the name Black Sabbath coincides with this album hitting the market.

David Bowie – Can You Hear Me Lyrics 1 year ago
It's agreed by most Bowie experts that this song is about Ava Cherry, who had a relationship with Bowie in this era and was a big influence on this album. She sings backing vocals on the album as well. Bowie himself stated that this is a "real love song", but he wouldn't talk about who it was written for when asked.
