Ian Gillan probably didn't even realize it back then, but this is one of the best descriptions of major depression disorder I have ever heard/read. Everybody might say you're lazy, and of course you are. You don't stop blaming yourself for being lazy, still you can't help it. Drowning, too weak to even clutch a straw. You don't wanna cry no more, and maybe one unfine day you put an end to crying. Always one of my favourite DP tracks, and nowadays even more. |
