This is about a breakup.....the planets go their way and the two of them and their relationship disappears out of sight...gone...forever. The learning of living for a dream that never could happen and how wrong and hurtful it was to dream something that could never happen. if she could do it over....would have never done it and still wish the person gone, out of her life and live alone. The changing is horrific and they will never change again the way it changed them. Her lover will never love again the way he loved her, never rule her again the way he ruled her, she is free and he will never change again the way he changed. I just lived this and I'm still living it.... I just ended a 6 year, deeply emotional, sexual affair. The pain is unbearable!!!!! Thank you Stevie, I know I am not alone!!! I believe the writer is breaking up with a lover, affair partner, girlfriend. Her sorry eyes of sadness cut thru his heart to the bone and make extreme hurt and guilt. It makes it hard to leave her there alone and let her go. He has realized she is a lost cause and total waste of emotions and time. She is already "waving her guns at somebody new" or already has been with someone new or starting a new relationship, mostly because the newness, honeymoon of the relationship is gone. He realizes she is a lost cause because she will never be happy, as the new relationship will also become the same....again a lost cause. All the people, neighbors she knows watch her come and go and know she cheated on her partner.....but no one really cares. He is tiered of fighting for a lost cause....of a person that will always be an unhappy, loser. |
