| For the longest years since I heard this song when I was 9 or 10 years old in Syria I thought like everyone else that it had a meaning of a sort related to a couple or even a humanitarian message it wasn't clear what exactly.. in the beginning of 2022 I got saved. Reborn and washed clean and since then I love my God and savior Yesua (Jesus) and follow Him. Since then it hit me that this song is actually biblical. It's about God's love to His creation. Read the lyrics again and think of the Lord our savior speaking to some person's lost soul and His love to the lost people born in random dark areas on earth .. following some false religion they were born into or not following it yet just wandering. Lost. God speaking to them. His Holy Spirit surely spoke to my soul when I was mesmerized as a kid listening to this song and frozen in front of the screen tearing... low and behold after over 14 years when I knew God.. things started making sense including this song that has been and still is one of my favorites if not my very favorite and now that I know it from an open eyed perspective into the truth that God's grace allowed me to see, I love this song and it touches me even more.. Hallelujah and glory to His name Him who finds us and draw us closer through even an anointed simple song | |
