the way i interpret this... as a person who is painfully shy... mrs cold is just a nickname for her because she doesn't show her emotions. at first he thinks she isn't interested but soon realizes that she is just too afraid to show how she feels because it makes her vulnerable to rejection. you lost control and lost your tongue = she lost control of the situation because she became emotionally invested and now her feelings are at risk of being hurt which is out of her control. she lost her tongue because she became too afraid to speak. she waited too long he moved on while she was acting cold. when he says "nothing you say is gonna change the way i feel", he either means it's too late now or... he already likes her and she shouldnt worry about speaking because nothing she could say would be wrong. i have no idea what the game lyric means... maybe that means it's ongoing because they both still like one another? |
