I don't like catholicism, but I think a lot of worlds problems come from the certain other abrahamic faiths. The fact that you not allowed to criticize them tell me all you need to know about who actually pulls the strings. It's tired hat to be anti-christian nowadays anyway, like atheism has ever made anyone happy? A healthy skepticism is my outlook on things. It really is a shame what happened to Matt Holt and by the sounds things weren't going well in this time period for the rest of band. I really like your interpretation sunshine_arakhan even if it's a bit of a leap. However i'm more inclined to believe lovehate25 on this one. |

The governments of this world need their 'patsy's as it's just another tool to further keep hold of what power they have and expand upon that power using all these agencies multi nationals and whoever else they can bribe or co-erst. I wonder if ill Nino are a christian band? with the mention of Dios (God) and bringing their former band mates to 'the light'. Hell this albums called 'Confession' and their a rosary prayer bead on the cover. So maybe?
It doesn't matter as this song rocks hard and that's all that matters and anything else purely my speculation.
However the closest I could find was old interview with V13 where the lead singer Cristian Machado basically says we all come from one creator so I guess not explicitly. |

Hot open!! I can't relate to having a romantic relationship but I have been strung along unknowingly by 'friends' and women that I liked so there's that. If I wasn't such an autist maybe I'd have some hope? but I'm just an alien in human form that should of been eliminated at birth!
As for the SONG MEANING it's pretty obvious that the dude got cheated on which imagine SUCKS and he's pretty off about it.

Hot take but Rage are overrated fake revolutionary major label sellouts (probably deep state controlled) I would rather hang out with the boys of P.O.D any day. The fact that they claim they invented Nu-metal (particularity Tom Morello) but shit on it at the same time speak volumes to me. Also Limp Bizkit > Rage anytime!
For the song other 'bobtheflob' said it's about the war inside (particularly for ones soul) and looking at the lyrics I would agree with that summary. |

Great song! Katy Hudson she would of been known as before her stage name really shines at the end. I also heard she had an album before her breakthrough dated in pre 9/11 2001 so that fact alone surprises me for some reason. I would love if they ever did this song live together but I highly doubt that would actually happen agian. |

I am no Theologian nor am I philosophical in any way which is a shame (I think my brain isn't wired for that).
The way I see the Matrix is basically (the film and the possible reality) an analogy for heaven and how we can strive to understand all we want but can only dream on what the afterlife could be? Hence sleeping awake...
Maybe I'll one day have my spiritual awaking and understand what a christian experiences with god and Jesus but for now I'll remain a depressed agnostic who doesn't know shit.
Also I'm just drunk lonely idiot typing into a keyboard so what do I know?
What I can say with certainty is I love this song and the Jason Truby era of P.O.D is quite underrated IMO. Plus P.O.D rule and bands like these help get me through the day so that's got to count for something eh. The Drumming is great in this song double peddle galore, and the music gives me a hum/quicksand feel to.
As for the lyrics, they match beautifully with the melody. Things seem hopeless and it's really relatable. Who doesn't want to fit in with people or go time a that might be better for them socially, some people are very friendless nowadays and it's hard to connect or stay connected despite the advances of technology.
"But no one's going to save you so you just might as well save your self" fits perfect today or even as far back as you want.
Some people are loners because they either like it or through no fault of there own end up that way even if it wasn't there fault. It could also be someone going from relationship to relationship and being let down. They are probably putting too much of themselves into it and that's why, "You'd kill for a heart of stone" or "You've Locked yourself up in your heart.
Anyway sorry for long paragraph that's just my interpretation. This song really catches me in the feels so it's done it's job well! I hope who reads this is doing okay. (-: |

A self improvement anthem. "You're only going to be what you see" if you don't desire to change and improve your outlook on life. It kinda of hit's home to me as at times hate myself for even existing.
Which very ironic as I listen to a lot of Christian Rock/Metal nowadays, despite not actually being christian. Songs like these help me get out of the rut I find myself in even if it is a temporary fix. |

Great cover of an already great song, by a band that does great covers. Shame there's isn't more songs off this album. Zoltan's got a killer voice and it's one of my favourites from the Outcast album.
