I don’t know the writers intention but I can tell you what hear out of the lyrics. The dude gets mad pussy but he wants more, he wants a little heart with that pussy. The heart is much harder to get. By the end of the song he learns to accept he got a lot of pussy because many men can’t even get that yet they are mellow and accept it and he who got mad pussy is upset that he can’t get any heart with that pussy. He realizes he needs to chill and be glad he got more than most men. |

Lefty finds out why Pancho kept getting away when the Feds should have caught him. Turns out he was an informant. Others were hunting Pancho too and lefty set Pancho up to get caught by other bandits that Pancho informed on. Lefty did what he had to do, get the informant taken care of. To escape the corrupt federales for setting up their informant he took reward money and used it to as far north as the money could get him. Now he is upset that the informant became a folk hero and he has to live in cold Cleveland. Say a prayer for lefty too, he only did what he had to do. |
