| This is a song about a young man that is deeply in love with someone that is older and that he obsesses over from his childhood. Likely someone that showed a lot of love to him at a young age. He is always questioning his sense of self-worth and feels inadequate because he is unable to connect or be satisfied with this person physically or sexually. It is a long distance relationship that is draining to him because all he wants is the sun (a warm connection), he is wiling to give everything for it but is not getting the satisfaction he needs and wants to break free from it. This person could be someone very close (like a mother) from his childhood that was never there for him and he had to share her with someone and having to share her at a young age led to him breaking down and trying to be a man at a young age in life. | |
