@[Fairweather:49149] Excellent take . John is basically trolling the average music and also the average music fan (they bob their head but don’t listen to the music ) . He puts an exclamation point on this by trolling the music industry and the average listener by making this a hit , by spelling out exactly what he is doing , but the listener won’t notice and not only that but he ironically “ sold out “ and made a 3 minute diddy to prove this and it was a top hit . It’s genius level and hysterical and it sounds amazing as he uses the tricks of the trade to insure that it does |

@[Boatkicker:49148] you Nailed it . The there is no singular reality sort of sums up the songs message and it’s a pretty amusing song
The almost silliness of the way life is today for us ..he sort of points out how silly reality is , a lot of the thought process behind things we say , believe , hear and act is ..not iron clad and not necessarily based on intelligent thought but anyway .. bc it ironically almost matters more what we believe things to mean |
