A relationship that ended due to the main protag doing someting that their ex lover wasn't happy about. The protag is torn apart and is deeply missing thier ex lover, knowing and also feeling like it was their fault. Saying that they could scream in their face about how it was them that ruined the relationship, hoping and wishing that their ex wouln't hate them anymore. The protag, in a deeply depressed state, thinks that maybe if they weren't alive anymore they wouldn't hate them. To reason with this thought, they say that they hope their friends move on too, getting drunk and high.
And ya that's kind of it, pretty sad but fucking amazing. I'll cry to this song any day PERIOD! |

I feel like this song is about deeply missing someone that they once knew, yearning for this person to the point that they are gripped with anxiety. Begging for this person to ease their mind and calm their heart. Give them a sense of purpose and meaning. |

Correct me if im wrong but I get the feeling this song is about someone losing faith in themselves and the world around them, things are just getting worse for them. Have you ever heard of the saying, "things get worse before they get better?" I feel like the song also plays on that saying, either way, thats just my interpretation of this amazing ass song. Literally my favorite paramore song! |

| The Hush Sound – Wine Red Lyrics

"The song "Wine Red" by The Hush Sound featuring Patrick Stump is a song about two lovers who were once in a perfect Garden of Eden-like state who were forced apart due to unfortunate events. The "arrow in your throat" and "crimson apple" references suggest that the two lovers were cursed in some way and could no longer remain together, despite their deep love and emotion for each other competing against all forces that stood in their way. The chorus repeats the words "Gloria, we lied" and emphasizes that, though they may have tried to make things work, their love was no match for the chaos and tragedy that their romance had endured. The chorus also reiterates that this moment was the place and time to be alive, even though it clearly did not go as planned. The sea turning "wine red" is symbolic of the couple's love transforming into sorrow and grief. The doves and the lovers dying alludes to the end of their romantic relationship and the darkness and despair they felt after having to part ways." -Songtell (I did not write this myself, I just wanted to know what thee crypic yet amazing lyrics meant and I felt like others should know too). |

I have a feeling this song is about 2 people trying to move on from either same situation or similar. One of them is ready to go into the world of the unknown but the other is too scared and won't fly, rather they want to stick to maybe something that seems familiar to them. The bird that decided to stay on the wire never moved on while the other went on with their life, despite trying to convince the other to come along. |

A song about self harm but I'm not sure if they are shaming her and other kids for self harming/suffering in silence I'm not really sure about that. |

I'm going to take these lyrics in a more literal sense and say that there's a woman trying to pin her death on someone but that someone (protag) is aware of what she's doing; The protag is aware of this "game" that his ex(?) is playing and is calling her out for it. He'll see her ghost when he sleeps, clearly being haunted by this person who doesn't know how to fucking leave someone alone cause how the hell you gonna try and pin the blame on someone else like you gotta be on something to do some dumb shit like that like like like what the fuck dawg- |

This song is basically someone struggling to get over a past love that they see going out with someone else, really captures the jealousy and depression of no being able to get over someone and hoping that someone can help them carry on again. |

I get the vibe that this is about a dysfunctional family, whether its falling apart cause maybe the person that is singing is struggling with drugs and is asking for his parents to help him or maybe someone who had experience alot of abuse and violences when they were younger and is wishing for things to be better. |

This song is just a fun little bop about her loving the high life and I think its done well with fun lyrics and everything, it shouldn't be a song that is take too seriously cause the meaning of it is pretty straight forward and its execution is done well! :) |

I feel like this song is about 2 things:
-A loss of fame; defamed (this is more supported by the music video)
-Young Adults (maybe fresh outta highschool) who were way in over their heads and fucked it all up in vegas. |
