@[lonestar_x_tragedy:51548] absolutely!! Some of their lyrics on the first two albums are debatable, but they were very young! I would say musically they are always great, lyrically Neon Ballroom onwards! |

Abbyjade90 - I don't think he's being sarcastic exactly, I but I get what you're saying. Daniel said, about the polystyrene lyric specifically, that it is about: how when you're a kid and you get a hat at a party and you think it's great, but then you realise that it's just plastic or polystyrene and it's fragile and can melt in the sun, it wasn't what you originally thought it was, looking in. That is what Daniel Johns said about that lyric. "Telephone. Socially scared and impaired" I think that is kind of obvious... Daniel has said many times, specifically if this period in his life, how he hated the phone and if he was in the room when one would ring he would leave the room. Daniel was agoraphobic, "socially scared and impaired". I suffer from agoraphobia myself and that shit is not fun. Some of the other lyrics can be interpreted many different ways. |
