| I am surprised no one else here has said this. This song is about his cousin Brad Renfro the actor who passed away of a heroin addiction. The original video had him in it because it was written before he died. Everything in the song is about wanting to help him but the contradictions of addiction the person relapsing over and over. He grew up with him. The family is just as tortured as the person with the addiction themselves. | |
