I’m obsessed with this song and I’ve been listening to it nonstop. I think this is about being in love with someone that you keep giving second chances to or you’re waiting for them to change. You can only do it for so long until you realize they’re a never going to change or that you’re settling for less than you deserve. Then the person is struggling to stay and fight for the relationship or to walk away and save themselves. It hurts because that person is opening their eyes to the situation and the option to give up and walk away is getting bigger. Their partner may be cheating and lying and this is not the first time that they have done this. They told themselves that it happened again that they would try to leave or fight, but either way the time passed and they did nothing. Now it’s happening again and they’re faced with the same decision. They know love is worth saving but only for so long. |
