@[Indi1994:48947] a remake of this song suddenly came on in my queue of all videos about the start of the war in Israel (10/07/23). I had not put it there. It was a haunting rendition of the original by Disturb and was so relevant to the situation at hand. It gave me the chills! In the video of the remake it is obvious that it is about war. It originated during the Vietnam war and I think that was the intent. I believe they are talking about how the world has not been communicating, talking and listening and the Sounds of silence may reflect the aftermath of war. |
