Todd Rundgren – Can We Still Be Friends? Lyrics 4 months ago
A song that seems hopeful on the surface, but is ultimately sad. A romantic relationship is ending and he doesn’t want to acknowledge it, at least to his lover. Probably they both still have feelings for each other, but know it’s over and it’s painful.

Ambrosia – How Much I Feel Lyrics 4 months ago
Excellent singing by David Pack. The singer expresses feelings of longing for a past lover in a way that few could. However, I think there might be pronoun problems. Is he referring to his ex and her lover when he says “you both realize how foolish you’ve been?”
That’s the only way I can make sense of it.
Still, it’s a great song.

I spent many hours in college analyzing Steely Dan lyrics. More interesting than many of my classes and probably more complex. Excellent review!

Buffalo Springfield – Nowadays Clancy Can't Even Sing Lyrics 7 months ago
Sounds like Neil was upset about not being allowed to sing his own songs. I love Neil’s music, but Richie Furay did a great job. As for the earlier remark about the boy with the bell - I think Neil could identify with being treated differently or worse. His kind of talent would have made him an outsider.
