@[sirsid:53456] no interpretation of art is "wrong." That being said, my experience is similar to yours. I feel like it's two sides of one mind |

@[AeroLed286:53242] not that I disagree, it's absolutely about that, but 22 years after you made your comment I thought I'd add that it can also be about relationships or simply finding where you should be in life...in tune with yourself. |

@[alfiebaby:51410] to be fair, a white horse is often symbolic for heroin. Still, like the rest of the album, itz how YOU interpret it... so their meaning is valid, as is yours or mine. |

@[Massive:48651] Attack I am new to Sufjan Steven's and before delving into his music I didn't know he had Christian themes running throughout. As a fellow atheist, I agree. You don't have to agree with it to realize it's brilliant. I also grew up Christian and still feel nostalgic about some more upfront Christian brands (reliant K lol) because the themes can still resonate despite me not believing in the faith. |

@[IndieLover:48650] this idea of yours also ties into the John Wayne Gacy song where he provides a conversational and friendly exterior while hiding horrors under his floorboards (that at the end ties into the narrator and all of us really with hidden secrets underneath the mask we present to everyone besides our most intimate loved ones, if we do at all) |
