This song is basically about fighting with the voice in his head, his self-doubt, that keeps telling him he is worthless. (Something that everybody has probably done in some form or another.) He has allowed the voice(self-doubt) to cripple him. He's able to continue the fight, though. He ultimately knows that he is better than what he's been telling himself. He finally finds the strength inside of himself to stand up and show his true power and strength. He hopes to be an inspiration to others who are struggling in similar ways. And, I think that he is trying to show that we need to stop trying to take the weight of the world onto our shoulders. For we re merely human beings. |

@[Karnenyen:51996] I agree with you. Ren is a genius! Lyrically. Musically. The emotions he conveys are incredible. The tales he tells are so gripping. Been listening to him for about a year. He is probably my favorite artist. Nobody else out there is quite as original as he is. |
