FirstIy, I believe the singer might be referring to himself. Alternatively, the thoughts he might have on each word, line and verse, may be more literally directed at someone new in their lives, sharing for the first time the thoughts and experiences this 'wild kind' is experiencing and simply naturally drawn to. Then a body starts glowing, whether for the alter ego or for the individual starting their story or journey with the wild kind. And realises, it's not so easy as it might have previously seemed, to define this wild kind (the self reflection or third party conversation might be opened up for interpretation.) But now the spirit (perhaps still of oneself or another) keeps on overflowing and the secrets will tend to start growing, followed by the act of shouting it out (whistleblowing) to the world, what you are feeling, seeing, hearing. But the singer asks quite politely to let that idea of whistleblowing behind, as that won't help and most certainly won't change the outcome of said wild kind, because the wild kind are loading the canons and staying to fight. A determined and confident mindset that will not be deterred. You're not the type to pass us by might again mean that the singer refers to himself as not being able to simply pass by, or again, a stranger coming into his live not being willing or able to simply pass by this wild kind. Now the question beakers from the singer to his alter, or to the other person, that they are not the kind of person to just ignore this and move on with their regular lives just like they might have before... The question now, is rather, knowing all of these crazy and wonderful things about the wild kind, will you merely pass by and go on with your everyday predictable life. Or will you start feeling alive and subsequently join this side of the wild kind. Load your cannons and fight, for the wild kind. |
