I think it's about Paul from the point of view of Timothy. Change the name of my brother could refer to when Saul changed his name to Paul. Paul is referred to in the 3rd person, and "brother" is not meant to be taken literally. A very interesting song from such staunch atheists. That's not a value statement on the members of the band, but if you listen to New Constellation it's obvious that they assert that. This comment is worth what you paid for it. |

I see this as a more generic message rather than referring to specific event or situation. Often when we say love (in English), we really mean to say infatuation. I think this is referring to a self-giving, self sacrificing love. Not an emotion, but a decision. |
