| I listened to the song while super baked and I just accepted it as fact that this song is about a guy smelling a candy perfume on his girlfriend or wife’s body. He comes to like the smell, but he could never find which perfume it was. Until one day a guy that has relations to the wife as a friend or whatever comes over, and he smells the perfume on him but much stronger. So basically a song about a guy finding out his girlfriend cheated through a perfume which is why it switches to “candy perfume boy” towards the end when the song gets more aggressive and angry and says the line “did I lie to you” | |
