António Variações often felt he didn’t fit, he suffered with his extravagance and differences, being somehow like an “alien, a legal alien, in the society.” The lyrics express all these feelings and he addresses them to a third person, most of the song, but finishes using the first person stating “No one can reach me”. It is one of the most powerful songs (although less known) of this incredible Portuguese artist. |
