This song could be the antithesis of "Deadhead." While "Deadhead" might represent devotion to another as a means of achieving salvation from suffering, "The Way Home!" could symbolize liberation from suffering through the recognition of self. (Perhaps too introspective, as Devin has always been...) "I'm returning to myself with everything I learned from my time with you.
