All I can imagine during "And if you lose, boo-hoo. HEY LOOK MA I MADE IT!" Is this guy who looks like Elvis wearing a black leather jacket roasting this random person then turning around whilst his face lights up and screams HEY LOOK MA- |

This is so funny to me. I've never listened to this band before, but I'm reading a book series called Tunnels about Will burrows and his father and whatever, and the bad guys in said book are called the Styx, and a lot of people are renegades being hunted down by said Styx. I wonder if this song and the books are related. |

I think this song is about someone (Represented by Hayley) who was left by their partner because they committed a crime. "And the grass wasn't green enough here, after watering it with my tears. Not sure where you went, now we are, just past tense." And they were chased from their hometown by the people they knew and loved. "And the snakes start slithering in, chasing me to my end." Their 'end' is where they will go. "Not sure where that is, I'm running, again." What the song means by 'in my blood' is probably that they came from a long line of bad people. Idk just my imagination running wild. |

| I think this song is about someone with such a depressing life that they developed mental issues worse than depression, and started hallucinating. The part "So one day he found her crying coiled up on the dirty ground" I think the girl coiled up on the dirty ground is the part of her that realizes something's wrong, and the prince is a type of drug that was supposed to help her, and then the "Well, you better build your house brick by boring brick, or the Wolf's gonna blow it down." I think the house is her immune system trying to keep out the side-effects of said drug; The wolf. | |
