First this song seems to be in second person since the song says "Get up Jhonny boy" This is where it gets interesting, because of Tyler's religious background it could be that God is saying to Jhonny to get up and move on. In another verse it says "I will carry all your names and all your shame." So it is possible.In the song it says "We all know you are qualified to fix a chair and love your wife." Know it says "'...and love your wife" like he doesn't already. It also seems as though the world is pressuring him to be someone he can't be or can't do.This my interpretation my opinion. |
