| John Prine – It's A Big Old Goofy World Lyrics | 1 year ago |
| A lot of word play in this song. It takes an amazing talent like JP to still deliver the meaning and message. | |
| John Prine – Christmas In Prison Lyrics | 2 years ago |

Wanna know why John Prine is one of the greatest song writers? Right here: "The search light in the big yard Swings round with the gun And spotlights the snowflakes Like the dust in the sun." It's perfect. No disrespect, but I bet it took a while to get that line just right. |

| John Prine – All The Best Lyrics | 2 years ago |
| I read that John wrote this song for his ex-wife's wedding. | |
| John Prine – Clay Pigeons Lyrics | 2 years ago |
| I thought john prine wrote this song after his bout with throat cancer. "I could build me a castle with memories just to have somewhere to go." And also getting" back in the saddle again," and "start talkin' again, when I know what to say." I was surprised to learn it was penned by Blaze Foley. Still it's one of my favorite songs sung by Prine which is very odd considering he wrote so many, many brilliant songs of his own. | |
| Dave Carter – Ordinary Town Lyrics | 2 years ago |
| Anyone who's lived in a small town can understand the line "we crucify or own." Dave paints a true and common picture of the Ordinary Town. | |
| Dave Carter and Tracy Grammer – Tanglewood Tree Lyrics | 2 years ago |
| "Love is a trackless domain." What a brilliant line. Love is new and different for everyone. When you enter, it's like nobody has ever been there before. Because they haven't. They were somewhere else. | |
