@[Cigburn:47285] I created an account on this website just so I could comment on your spot on and such deep interpretation. As a narcissist myself I can confirm this is an exact dynamic I've been putting my partner through and the song hits close to home. Maybe that's why it was a soundtrack of my mental breakdown -- it shed light on my own ugly side and forced me to see myself for who I really am. And I'm not an easy partner to have, that much is clear. But one has to fall apart before reassembling himself into a new, better version, so let's raise a glass to introspection, therapy and love. |
