| @[lostjournal:47071] Ion Square is a place in Soho, that's what Kele is referring to - a lot of that album references places in London. So I think a part of the choice of title is about his queer identity. I don't know where you are but Soho is like the gay capital of London and a lot of us in the London queer scene are out constantly and there is a feeling, I think, when you're a younger queer, of being out looking for something and crawling those same clubs and bars etc and he's saying he doesn't want that or need that anymore and can publicly be with the partner, or even be contented just to stay inside with them as he realises the value of just being gently happy with somebody. | |
