In my opinion this song is about living with PTSD. "Eyes Wired Shut" Referring to not being able to see things the way you want to "Running through my brain" Referring to being tormented by your own thoughts Also when he says "I throw it away" that's saying he is trying to get away from the things that are making it worse. In the video too at the beginning they show a picture of a war hero. We all know how common PTSD is in the military. |
