I LOVE THIS SONG! All my friends say this is my anthem. This is literally the best song for geeks ever. It will make any geek feel better about them. I love the whiney singing voice. The lyrics are really funny and talk about being too scared to talk and not being very smooth. Shout it all around the world because the geeks get the girls! Because it can be true if you make it. |

This is one of the best loser anthems ever. The opening is perfect and talks about how the song is dedicated to the kids who got picked last in gym class, never had a date to the dance, and who’s ever been called a freak. It talks about having a breakup for not being cool enough, getting beat up, the rich kids having convertibles, making the baseball team but being laughed at, dad deserting the family, and other things too. This song is one of the best anthems for freaks and people that get looked down. |

| I always thought this song was about being the nerd in school and being sick of it. He says “you’ve been dubbed a special student” and “you sit alone and sweat in silence,” which I always looked at as being the quiet kid. But he says to “take his tongue, it’s cocked and loaded,” which I understand as him being sick of being the quiet kid and ready to speak out. I think he is ready to speak out to the place that “doesn’t tolerate defiance” | |
