I’m fairly certain this song is about a character who was physically/sexually abused to near the point of death, but her friends/family are blind to it/putting the blame on her. “They’ve got scars on their eyes.” -> blind to it “They all say ya didn’t listen.” -> telling her it’s her fault “Night and day it’s like a haunted replay.” -> the abuse |
