It was 1974 and I met a girl and new she would be my wife and we would have a family. I got her pregnant and we got married so I was the king and had everything I wanted. It wasn't long after that I found out my queen was a witch in disguise and I was really, the king of nothing! I stayed with her and had a 2nd child but I ended our marriage 2 weeks before our 14th anniversary. Next year would be 50 years and hearing this song takes me back to a sad time in my life. I found a new queen and she has treated me like a king for 35 years so I am the king of something now! | |
