This song is beautifully written. When he talks about a home he is not talking about a home made of four walls he is talking about a person. He is talking about love. He is talking about not feeling alone when they are with the person. The song is so emotionally written he is talking about building a home for the person but they disappear. He talks about how it is time for them to start living. He talks about how he wants to spend the rest of his life with someone. "This is a place where I don't feel alone" he is talking about his love for the person, not the hose he "built". He is talking about building a home for the love of his life. It is a safe place where they can grow old and have a lovely family. He is talking about living instead of dying. |

I think this song is about waiting for someone never coming back. I think that she is waiting but it is never coming back. She wants the best for the person but wants to be apart of their lives. When she says " I know it's for the better" she is saying that she knows not being in that person's life is better but she still wants them. She just wants to show all the emotion she wants but can't because that person isn't there. When she says "I never grew up with you and you're not my waiting room" she is saying that she can no longer wait for that person anymore because it is only going to hurt her even more. she soon gets tired of waiting. |
