@[fuzzyspud:46845] Agreed. One can wonder where Natalie drew her inspiration for these lyrics, even while acknowledging that they were directed at the time to her ill father. I'm not the most religious person on the planet, in fact I have trouble with my faith, but have a look at a key biblical verse: “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light” (Matthew 11:28–30) |
