I've been a Dylan fan since 1966 when I bought Blonde on Blonde for Like a Rolling Stone and got 1000 times my money's worth when I heard the rest of the album. For a while I could say I owned all of Dylan's albums but it seemed he'd record them faster than I could listen to them. And I can't understand the hate his 80s work gets. Empire Burlesque is near the top of my list. But there's no accounting for taste. I doubt that there's any audiophile ever who could say they love every Dylan album. But I think I can say that every Dylan album I own - 32 of them - has at least one gem. And most have at least 5. |

| Bob Dylan – She's Your Lover Now Lyrics | 2 years ago |

No one has mentioned one spectacularly ingenius lyric: "It's true, I just can't recall San Francisco at all I can't even remember El Paso, uh, honey" Look what he does with just two letters that are not even an actual word. Putting "uh" before "honey" he's saying not only can I not remember San Francisco or El Paso, I can't even remember your name. Just two letters adds one more giant insult. |
