In that time Axel rose came out of the closet. Could you see them doing a duet lol. M Cyrus and tallica. The music scene is so much different now. Here in AUS post covid, we have fuck all good music festivals. Now we none. Unless your happy to pay stupid money to see one or 2 bands at best. Out of 20 on the line up. It's such a shame that mainstream music is disposable. Rinse wash repeat. Kurt did very well to wrap this idea up in the MTV set. One last message to go, then iam done, and I can go home. That's exactly what he did. (Maybe the msg was that album or maybe it was to his special friend budha from childhood.) Either way he definitely went home. One door closes. I love artists. Kurt Kris Dave are all very artistic. I don't mean drawing. Well drawing a picture in your head maybe. So off topic but totally works. Please if iam wrong, sorry. I hope this idea I convey well enough. I accept it's a slight crackpot theory. This is on the MTV set. Now for years I thought it said "cry like a man" don't think it changes my idea much though. "And one more special Message to go And then I'm done And I can go home" It's all in these 4 lines. His last msg was recording that album. An acoustic set, an honest close and personal show. He apparently was a very personal person. So he sends his message (what's the msg?) Then he's done and can go home. So rehab to get done. Done with addiction. Or goes home and gets done. He ends his time with us and he goes home. I think the MTV song list is the metaphorical message. Where did you sleep last night being the last song on the album isn't just random lines that rattle on. My girl don't lie to me etc now don't forget the first song ("from their first album, most people don't own it") bleach. About a girl. Also dumb, bowies man who sold the world. Now iam not religious and havnt checked this but Jesus's don't want me for a sunbeam has a nod towards the afterlife aspect. Pennyroyal, all apologies. Each song has its lines to respectfully salute and say goodbye. Just the titles start to red flag things. I heard or read, after that phenomenal last song, backstage Kurt was pressured to do an encore (which he hated) he apparently replied to the request. "Did you hear the last song, was I not giving enough." He caused himself to start loosing his voice from the way he sang that song. One he did without a guitar in hand. Which he needed as a quirk to keep time. So on a plain. I think could have its position on this album as a literal way of saying to everyone. Iam done. Iam going home. Then add the flower arrangement (Kurt specifically requested.) The deeper notes from the chello. He also could be seen as acting guilty. I'd like to review the set again. Is there ANY one single moment Kurt looks at the camera. Eyes open dead straight into the lense. Why? I was about 12 when he ended his own life. When I was 27 I remember thinking of Kurt and how shit I thought this life/world/existence is. At now 40 I feel I learnt lifes not about the pain and heartache. It's more for everyone to learn to share. There are many things on our planet, surround yourself with the ones you love. Never push them away from you. Hi, I came here because I've had a couple of lines stuck in my head for days now. Pop F'n pop.... anyway, not sure I agree with the working girl idea. In my opinion the person holding their own has a slight twist here. You turn around, so hot and dry - needy, turn around look at me. Attractive but not committed. You're hiding under a halo, your mouth is alive - narcissistic hiding under a halo, not selfaware. Could be said like above "free spirited" or carefree. I think the songs lyrics or storyline is backwards. Whilst perfect the way it is. Just my interpretation. You pack your bag, you take control You're moving into my heart and into my soul Get out of my way, get out of my sight I won't be walking on thin ice to get through the night These 4 lines should be the end of the song. But they are not. Pack bag, take control. - Narcissistic trait. Moving into heart and soul. - sharing secrets to gain a level of trust. Then using the secrets to manipulate. (Wait I know that's a jump). Get out of my way and sight. - now who's saying this? Think about the next line. I won't be on thin ice to get through the night..... So I think the last 2 lines work well for both parties. "Fuck off I don't need your shit" So 2 Narcissistic people. 2 people that are volatile and only think of themselves. "Hey what's your word" trying gauge a moral compass. How far are they willing to take this. Just a little bit dangerous. Armed and dangerous, not trigger happy. Just got what is required to get what is needed. No mention of greed or anything physical. Sounds like 2 people who know each other's game. I'm not attracted to go, go deeper tonight. - deeper into mentally draining interactions. Gaslighting for example. Doesn't rule out "prostitute". I seem to draw more from the lines not mentioned in previous comments. Thanx for reading. |
