"Soft and porky ... You pig out till you've seen the LIGHT" - this could also refer to the Gnostic concept of the near/after-death experience, the so-called Archon "soul trap" - the light at the end of the tunnel that many naive, ignorant souls are entering thinking it's a way to Paradise, only to be forcibly reincarnated on this Earth again, with all the memory of their previous lives being wiped clean. I.e. it's not the light of God, but that of Lucifer "the light-bearer". That's certainly where someone who lived their life "soft and porky" would end up after their death. If this is true, she is mocking this rebirth cycle the majority are trapped in. https://www.trickedbythelight.com/tbtl/index.html Here's more info for those interested. |

@[hyperprosaic:46503] This and several other songs in this album seem to reference MK Ultra mind control / pizzagate sexual abuse. A lot of evidence has surfaced up over these years... Many artists have been victims of psychological trauma-based programming. Very mortifying indeed. |

| Switchblade Symphony – Soldiers Lyrics | 2 years ago |
| Sounds like a banshee wailing over lives senselessly lost in another needless war... Waste of human life in conflicts that could be avoided by not going along with the manipulators using us all as puppets on the war theater. | |

| Certainly seems to be foretelling some kind of doom/apocalyptic event or crisis. Perhaps a warning about spiritual fall of humanity as a whole and on a personal level. The biblical references and the beautiful parallel between macro- and micro- universe in the form of the sky and one's eyes. | |

| I love this band, and this song in particular. It also has an official music video on Cherry Red Records youtube channel. Simply beautiful and much underrated. | |

@[funk115366:46292] I think your interpretation is not far from the truth... Tina Root, the vocalist of this band, frequently dressed like a dominatrix or a gothic lolita doll, both girls in fact were quite fond of pink/blue hair and doll imagery... All of this hinting at sadomasochistic relationship both possibly were involved in at some point during their lives. They (or at least one of them) may have been victims of the MK Ultra mind control program. The handlers frequently make literal puppets out of the manipulated performers: http://www.whale.to/b/doll_imagery.html Pink hair is actually a symbol of submission often used in mind control: https://exposingthematrix.blogspot.com/2012/04/pink-symbolism.html You can still find photos of these girls in cages, or Tina wearing devil horns and leopard pattern catsuit (cat/kitten alter ego) on stage. All of this is definitely not just some random coincidence. I think she's been through a lot. Here's a creepy promo photo from her later project, Small Halo. She has her mouth taped like a hostage or a slave, and the guy next to her looks like he has total control over her... https://postimg.cc/qNtK3W58 |

| Switchblade Symphony – Naked Birthday Lyrics | 2 years ago |
| @[XcrowfeatherX:46291] I think it certainly is a wake-up call. The 'a servant, so empty' lines are especially telling. Makes me think about the fake reality most people live in. Passive herd mentality and unwillingness to seek and fulfill one's destiny. | |

I tend to think this song is about the false, toxic duality in our lives. And an attempt to break free from it. The pushers, i.e. those who are 'pushing' things onto us - the routine existence, the daily grind, political control agenda... The ruthless reign of those in power. The shakers are those who seem like they're 'fighting the system' or doing something for 'the greater good', i.e. fake, controlled opposition, revolutionaries, non-conformists, religious saviors and ideological promisers of all sorts - who in reality play the same double game as 'the pushers', seemingly rocking the boat but actually deceiving us, leading us all into the same trap again and again... The feelers are the naive, impressionable people who believe the lies, especially on TV, taking all the drama too seriously for their own good. The fakers - the cynics behind the curtain and in the crowd, those who are getting increasingly bitter with their lives and eventually losing all respect for human life. The media circus, advertisers, those who like to play dirty and mess around with our emotions. They may be fed up with all the fakery, but they play the game nonetheless, deceiving others and themselves till the end. The loudness - the meaningless noise and informational overload of our existence. The silence - as a consequence - is the lack of any honest voice or outcry in the masses, the 'silent majority'. The sweetness - the 'positive thinking', playing nice, being a people pleaser. Pretending everything's fine and putting on a happy face when things are actually falling apart. The violence - self-explanatory. The sudden brutality, the terror hitting us in plain sight, in broad daylight. Death, suffering and destruction, which the world is so full of. The heroes, the villains - various (sometimes even imaginary) personalities we're supposed to look up to or hate with a passion. All to manipulate, divide and conquer us over some trivial, concocted dispute. Step right up and listen close... - a call to wake up and become aware of your own life and the illusionary world surrounding you. There are many signs - same as the above, it's a call to pay attention to the signs and symbols around you, they often tell you that something's very wrong. Give up into all you've learned - a lot of the things you've been told and believed in are lies, hence there's a lot to re-learn from scratch, abandoning your current prejudice about the world you live in. The feelings that I have, they haunt me till I'm mad - the difficulty of facing the truth, the struggle to remain sane after all the revelations. The daring decisions - the radical changes that we must undergo in order to become empowered once again, the courage needed to make the first step to change your life. And lastly, 'My wings will pull me up into the sky' is the self-reassurance that we can transcend our treacherous reality and find the true meaning of our lives, despite all the trickery and the externally/internally imposed polarity of views in a society involved in perpetual conflict and dissatisfying contradictions. |
