| @[jimmylegs:53077] No. This an artifice only found in older analog recordings not done digitally. It's called "pre-echo" or "print-through," on older recordings, particularly those made on analog tape, happens because the magnetic tape can slightly "bleed" or imprint the signal from one part of the recording onto adjacent sections. You can hear this on FYP's song "Jerk OFF" off of the Idiocy 7" OR the 93 track Complete Crap Discography. They recorded two versions of this song but the one that has the bleed thru can be found on track 89. Idiocy 7" can be found on YT. | |

@[Zero:50849] As A Limit 20 years later so uh, this couldn't hurt.. This song is only one of a very, VERY limited numbers that where created BEFORE John Lydon joined the band. Lyrics written by Steve Johns when he was the singer with Wally writing the guitar section in 1972-73, predating Sid being in the band by 3 years. Whats crazy is that John and then later, everyone else, had to fight in order to get royalties from their own music as it was being collected by Malcolm in 1986.(See chapter:Legal Pie Fight in John Lydons book, "No Irish, No Blacks, No Dogs") They won a one million payout in 1986 and ended up getting their rights back from Malcolm. Wally received his first Royalties check in May 7th 1996, one day after his suicide. |

@[tuotierugif:46093] Necro'ing this like Lazarus but.. Kennith Anger wrote a book in 1959 called "Hollywood Babylon" that details the sexual exploits and the supposedly degradation of the Hollywood elite in the early 1900's. Glenn ever being the person who was in love with all things from that era the 50's and 60's, there is no doubt that the book inspired this song. |
